bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- fugazi and you, perfect together Holy hannah and her sisters....last night was just absolutely incredible. Fugazi played Ft. Reno last night. I was worried it was going to rain. Jeffrey and i walked around work from 5 pm on saying 'it's not gonna rain...there's stuff falling from the sky, but it's not rain...' but at 5:30 ish, it poured. On the drive from work to ft. reno, jeffrey and i tried to say things like 'i think it's letting up' until it was true. you can thank me later. By the time we got there, it had stopped and there was a rainbow. nice. Saw brendan, he had forgotten the microphone (long story). The vertebrates opened. they're playing the ottobar tonight. I have a bass lesson so i can't go (and i'm kinda nervous because i didn't practice very hard this week. everynight i came home and just completely conked out.) Last night was certainly an experience i'll never forget. Dancing up on the back of the stage- so many familiar and smiling faces- truly awesome. Watching fugazi from behind, when out in front there was an amazing lightning storm. it did continue to rain, but it wasn't terribly threatening. Oh, and now i'm in love with guy p. OH! *annnnnd* i found out that grandpa pants is *not* in high school, so let the crushes resume.... And some kids went to guappo's and had margaritas and i had a spinach quesadilla to end all spinach quesadillas and i told ryan n. about the dream i had of him. It's not smarmy. the only time i have smarmy dreams, they involve will smith. is that weird? i don't think so. but in this one, the black cat was having an indie rock science fair, and somehow we got paired up and we drew our 'task' out of a hat, and it was to build a talking computer like 'RUDY' from the jetsons out of old television parts, so we rode our bikes (mine has a basket)to this massive TV junkyard and collected things.
