bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- it's the mundane things in life.... first off, check out my horoscope today: GEMINI (May 21-June 20): Focus on diplomacy, designs, decorating,remodeling, important domestic adjustment. Your opinion sought regarding music; give it enthusiastically. How awesome is that? I will enthusiastically give anyone my opinion about anything, especially music, because i can't believe anyone gives a hoot. About my opinions...not polluting. i should hope you all give a hoot about polluting. I did so much laundry yesterday that i dare to say i was a laundry machine. except not really, because then i would have to say i was a washer or a dryer or something, when infact, i was merely a girl with dozens of quarters and four pillow cases filled with laundry. Last night was the first night in weeks that i was home by 7 pm, so i made myself a nice dinner (nice, in this case means one of those frozen budget gourmet deals) and had a beer. and it wasn't even friday. and i did laundry. and did the whole cat litter thing. Oh! Oildipstick update- it's not missing. Turns out, jiffy lube's comments are numerically entered, so the guy probably hit the wrong number. which doesn't make me feel any better, because now there's some mystery comment floating around about my car. One reason not to enjoy being near a college campus: the traffic. All summer long, i've enjoyed a quick jaunt into college park to pick up whatever and to go to the Wawa. (sometimes i get homesick ok?!?>!?) but yesterday, with all of the kids back, it was traffic for days and nowhere to park. plus, happy kids regreeting each other like puppies, talking about dorm assignments can make one feel uh, not young. i guess i'm pre-old maybe. I went to one record store to get a new album, ( i chose not to go to CD Depot, because making a left turn out of their parking lot is certain death) and the kid ( and i do stress the kid) was terribly confused. jets to what? is that a band? he looked it up, and it said it wasn't comming out until sept. 26, but i think insound has it now....but then they'll be here tomorrow....maybe i can arm wrestle blake for one then. not that i know him or anything, cause i don't. but can you imagine how funny it would be for this short little round girl to fly at this tall strapping man and demand to wrestle for a copy. humpf. if you saw the picture in my head, you'd be a-chorteling. trust me on this one. well gang, here's to friday and the 7-11 big brew coffee cup, and unknowledgeable store staffs and a boss who might be out sick today....three day weekend? naw.....three and a HALF day weekend. that's what i'm talkin' about. anyone wanna go shoppin'? kisses beth b. 13:26:24 - 2000-09-01 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
