bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- amazing clouds and friends so, it's friday evening...after battling traffic from the delaware toll plaza to the comodore barry bridge, i am at my parents house. The whole drive wasn't a disaster. i did manage to avoid death twice. (2!!!!) The first was on the baltimore/washington parkway when a big tree branch fell onto the road after my car but before another one. luckily, no one got hurt. the second involved a few suv's and why is it that NO ONE CAN MERGE? if you know, do clue me in won't you? Oh, and there was the most magnificent sunset on the way there. the clouds were fucking amazing. all color and form and full of shapes and stories. if i had had my camera in the front seat i would have taken pictures. not unlike the time i decided to document '69' on my trip back to dc. (i have a digital spedometer, so it allows for those kind of jollies) but much to my chagrin (yet, not surprise) the 'mile 69' marker was swiped. i don't know why i expected it to be there, i just did ok? but tomorrow is all about my friend cristen and her new puppy and her mom (cristen's mom, not the puppy's mum) who is one of the most amazing women i've ever met. cheers guys. have a happy weekend. the whole lot of ya xoxo beth b. 03:33:12 - 2000-09-16 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
