bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- to tattoo, or not to tattoo, that is the question. Just some stuff: Clam chower (new england- of course!)*staying up until 4 am with a friend eating doughnuts* sleeping late* Danelectro Bass guitars* New sheets for one's bed*coloring books and a new box of crayons* the smell of the sunday paper*cool black vintage swing coats* pink purses * live music so good it makes you ache* seeing a really well done tattoo and re-thinking your tattoo-less existance* thanks. about that tattoo thing- i don't have one. i saw a really well done one this weekend, and now i am thinking of my undecorated skin. i never really thought seriously about them because 1) i am the most fickle girl in the universe and 2) see reason 1. BUT- i thought of something that could change it- the dingbat. yes- that small spring-y piece of plastic that one puts in the large hole of a 7" single. it's great on three levels- 1) i think it's funny, because it's such an everyday thing (well, for somepeople anyway) that it would be like someone getting a toaster tattoo, 2) the one's with the arms would kinda have a design-y feel, so it would be almost a spoof on those people who get those 'tribal' or 'celtic' tattoos without considering their meaning 3) it would commemerate my ex-dj'edness as well as be an homage to my love of the 7" single (god love septophelia....is jen woolfe still doing that? does anyone know? beck? jj? i figg'r one of you two might know...) ok, so what'dya think. lemme know. xoxo beth b. 17:27:43 - 2000-10-10 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
