bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- what are you doing new year's eve There's a fellow here that likes to call himself 'tripple-8'. He must have the most powerful fucking CB in the world because he's on our radio, he's on our phone lines, once i got him at home on my television. I've called the FCC, and i can't believe that i was ever scared of those people when i was in college. (our station manager put the fear of god in me, regarding the FCC, during my stint as program director)But they were able to do nothing. The most they could do was ask me to fax them a letter/petition with other people's complaints as well. this guy is really really loud and really really obnoxious. more so than i am at this very moment. But that's not what matters at this moment. what matters is that it's almost january 2001. I was terribly excited for the 2000's. it was going to be my year. i was going to be 'the bethb-2000', it just has a good ring to it you know? but now's the point in time where i need to decide how to spend NYE. part of me would like a kickin' party, but they never seem to be as exciting as i want them to be, so i'd just rather have a few friends over, play board games and drink mercilessly. what are you guys doing? let me know on that message board you see over to your right, or drop me a line at [email protected] or an invitation at 133 7th st.
