bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i've been robbed. i'm probably not going to be able to update for a little while because when i came into work today, i discovered we'd been robbed. mostly business stuff ready for pawning, but they stole my little CD player that my dad gave me for my 21st. birthday as well as some CD's (unrest, bikini kill, the first dance hall crashers album that's out of print on Moon records) people always say they feel so violated and i thought that might be cliche, but it's true. they went through my desk. they stole the computer that has all my files on it, all my wonderful emails from friends. all of my information. all of my email addresses. that's what sucks the most. all of my text for my next zine- gone. and to top it off, they robbers hosed the place down with a fire extinguisher so there is extinguisher exhaust *everywhere* if you get this, and we've emailed, please email me again in a few days. hopefully this nightmare will be over by then. xoxo beth b. 18:04:15 - 2001-01-17 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
