So, remember how i said i was going to get to meet Ralph Finnes? I'm not. I'm not going. Partly, because i just don't want to. isn't that stupid? i've just had such a crap-tastic week, i need time to do 5 (yes, 5 thanks. you go through a lot of clothes painting) loads of laundry. and tomorrow it's going to snow. i hope. i can't tell you how much i want to snuggle up in bed with my sunday paper and hot chocolate and my washington post (or my new [to me] copy of 'the naked ape') (10 cents! i got it for 10 cents!) and read and sip and sip and read. last night i went up to baltimore to see a photo exhibit at this place called photo works. they were really cool hyper-colored photos this woman snapped around the world. if anyone is in baltimore (mike p.) you should go. nice stuff. it's mostly very playful. and it indulges my fantasies of being a toy photographer. i don't actually know what kind of camera she used, but it had a sorta holga/lomo/action sampler quality. and then anna and i got invited to another opening wednesday at aroma up in cleveland park. i recognized one of the names from the art o matic from last fall and i liked their work. so i think i'll go. You know, i never really believed in astrology until i started to actually write stuff down on calanders. I have more Libra and pieces friends. It can't be a coincidence. then i read linda goodman's 'sun signs'. hey, what do you want, i was in high school and worked at a used book and record store. hey baby, what's *your* sign. hey, actually, yeah. i wanna know. tell me tell me tell me. i wrote a song for le welder chaud.
