bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- my hero johanna today was my last lesson with johanna...probably ever. and last night was (maybe) the last most secret show. they're not saying it is, but with johanna going to nyc....although i would imagine they'd get together and do the last-show-thing right. i don't know. man....it was the coolest taking lessons from her. i mean, she's the reason i started in the first place. standing in the basement of the freezing wilson center, something in me snapped and all i could think was 'i have to do that...i have to do that...i have to do that...' it's great to see how diverse she is. hearing her on bass in lincoln, rocking with the most secret, and on the double with Qui Vicino. it was an honor to learn from her. last night at the most secret show, i got teary..i admit. oh, i have to go show my boss how to bid with ebay. i swear.... 5:40 p.m. - 2001-07-27 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
