bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- beth b tries the yoga and likes it... oooooh, friends....i have met the enemy, and she is *skanky* ok, let me back up..... last saturday's halloween party (this reflects back to the princess leia comment) there was....well...a boy at this party....and things were....nice and cuddely at said party and he was very flirty, and to sum this all up, i fell for it. i fell for it completely. usually i can spot/smell/avoid the schmoozey boy. i can. i mean, i work with actors and directors and shit, right? so yeah, usually my schmooz alarm is ragin' full on (the fIREHOSE reference there doesn't mean anything there, it's just a great record, ok?) but some how this one got by and now this weekend at another party i meet his girlfriend from NYC. who does work for the actor's studio, so maybe she knows mike myers so maybe this isn't a total loss.....but....i'd be lying if i said i wasn't a little bit o'hurt. also...i love PJ harvey again. you should too. i completely dissed (and probably will continue to) her last two albums, but i have to say, "stories from the city, stories from the sea" is really really really awesome. except for the horses song. that's just moderately ok. and thom "the h is silent" york is on one track, you know, for you radiohead kids..... also also...yoga. yeah. yoga. i feel so good this morning and i think i owe it all to rodney yee and his little black speedo. i have to wonder with some of the shots on this tape....did he have to get a male-version of the bikini wax for that shot, because all i'm gonna say is there's well...*A LOT* of rodney yee and very little black lycra, but i feel good. even if my cat insisted on sitting on my hair while i was in "relaxation pose" which, if you've never had a 12 pound cat sitting on your hair, is not so condusive to this whole relaxation thing 9:20 a.m. - 2001-11-05 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
