bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- flattering weirdness i've had the band "children coup d'etat" on the brain a lot lately. i need to find that one single released on bath house records. also just asked ben ben if he'd ft. reno with me this summer. i hope he says yes. this is so queer. i feel like i'm asking him to my prom or something. and i like ben, for he does posses a certain david cross kinda quality that i love, but i don't *like like* mr. ben. you know.... also- the rock and roll therapy on friday was *perfect* missed the liars, didn't care...but the apes put on the best show i think i've ever seen them do. fucking great. and les savy fav were just ....right. except for tim ripping the already large hole in his pants and climbing the ladder and wiggling his bum through his split pants at the crowd. eventually he ripped them off entirely and thanks to two boys in the front row, tied one button down shirt to the front and tied one shirt to the back and played the last quarter of the show in a "skirt" and then the guy from the apes gave him his t shirt and tim wore that as shorts. it was a very weird night for clothes overall. and prior to les savy fav, an extremely tall boy (his new name shall be "lurch") came over to me and asked if i was at the burning airlines show at the wilson center in august. august. it's december 7th (well, it was friday) i say "um...hmmm yep." and he said "i thought i remembered you" remembered me? folks, i'm as inconspicuous as a girl can be. i don't make scenes, i don't have any sort of interesting dress/manerisms. i just am. i guess i'm flattered, but it was kinda weird. 4:29 p.m. - 2001-12-10 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
