bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- bored....paint dry faster i made these really cool hobby-horse things for the duchess of malfi, and the actors broke one.....twice. once last week, and i fixed it, and then again last night, so i'm making a cheap and sleazy new one, being as there are 5 shows left. 4 after tonight, and they aint getting this for tonight. it's sleazy but it ain't quick. it's also not going to be as pretty as the last 5 thankyouverymuch that i made, which incidentally, spent about 500 dollars/horse and 50-60 hours to make...this one will not have the harlequin rope inlay, and as i blow into my beer bottle to songs that don't exist, waiting for the paint coats to dry (it's a tinted shellac glaze finish, natch) i'm writing this. 6:38 p.m. - 2002-03-07 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
