bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- chris meloni made up for other men's short commings ok, so i tried to meet the capital mayhem fella. i think 'tried' being the optimum word there. he said he was bringing some friends who were bringing friends so i was looking for a guy with glasses in a cast of thousands. i said i was a short girl with brown hair and bangs....it probably didn't help that for once, i didn't have to pee all evening, so i didn't get up. so i'm looking around, and there are about 5 guys with glasses who it could have been. there's one guy sitting by himself....then friends show up, and then he starts smoking (oh, i knew c.m. guy didn't smoke) so rania and sean and jeffrey are pointing out guys, and 4 of them are smoking, one isn't but there's only two guys sitting there, but wait...they're both shooting paniced furtive glances back at our table.... so when i get home, there's a message on my cell phone from ryan (that's his name, by the way) saying that he didn't know who to look for, and he was the tall guy in the blue shirt (the one with the paniced glances) so now i totally know who he was, and i feel kinda jerky, but if he figured out our table (becasue he saw my friend rania) he must have figured out who i was and just pretty much decided he couldn't even be my friend, so that's crappy. i took a sick day yesterday, because my throat is still goofy. i was going to go to the zoo, but instead i rented zoolander (oh, i just made that connection, just now)and bought a pair of sandals and played around on my bass (which i seriously haven't even touched in months) and learned how to knit at alicia's a little bit. hey, did you know that chris meloni is on OZ and he gets naked???? i just found out last night. so really, it's been a pretty good two days. 9:06 a.m. - 2002-04-11 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
