please be nice to my neighborhood while you're protesting, mmmmkay?

i think my cold is gone.

i am sunburned as *fuck* on my mid-to-upper- arm area, since i was scraping paint on sunday afternoon, rehabilitating the fort reno stage. thank god for carleton i. he is the shizznit.

i think (thought?) fort reno was going swimmingly enough, but now there might be some complications with park police and people....

i didn't sleep well at all last night. i think part of it was caused by an aggrivating phone call, and part of it was because it was an aggrivating day. i need to stop enabling my boss, so that he is able to actually *hand* a fucking fed-ex envelope over to someone behind some counter somewhere, even after i have filled out the fed ex airbill. i have no faith in him ever figuring out that one.

no blood donating for me yesterday. i had three strikes- one, this cold, two low iron ( which i'm pretty sure is a direct result from the cold and the fact that i'm eating, um...differently) and three, and weirdest of all, my pulse was super ultra fast! like 110/115 when it's usually around 87 bpm.i think that was maybe because (and i don't mean to sound like a horible person here,) but honestly, trying to get back to capitol hill around 4 pm after this whole "we're down with Isreal" march/protest capitol hill was a big sea of people walking back from the capitol to the stadium, which i guess is where they had their buses, was super ridiculous. i live about 6 blocks to the capitol and about 10 to the stadium. it's not an unbearable walk, because if you aim yourself down independance ave, it's a straight shot, but holy crap...i have never seen so many people unhappy to walk, i think ever. they were all miserable and asking me how much farther to the stadium, and should they take a taxi? i told them to take the metro, but then i saw on the 11 o clock news, capitol south metro was *closed* due to all the people.

so if you come to my neighborhood to protest something, do me a favor- don't cross the street in front of me when i have a green light.

and also- if you're some little dumb donkey 13 year old kid from the netherlands, don't call in fake bomb threats to our banks. that's retarded. i'm pretty sure the folks at my bank have never done anything to hurt you. they are some of the nicest people ever, and one of the oldest banks ever (i have a lot of trust issues with banks, so i chose the one who "was the neighborhood bank, before the neighborhood had electricity"

also also- my brother did not get the PR internship i was hoping he might get, which makes me really sad....so i don't feel a bit of remorse when i say that i hope the person who did get the internship turns out to be a kleptomaniac pro-pyro vampire.

so there.
