bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- you'd do it too i think saturday went well. we did better than i'd expected, but not as well as i'd hoped. everyone sounded great, ben did an awesome job. this whole weekend was just nice and fun. drank way too much friday night, out until 3; and then BING! wide awake 7 am saturday morning...couldn't get back to sleep but i felt great. went to eastern market, walked about, made breakfast, read in bed for awhile, watched bad TV, met up with alicia at the tail end of a school yard sale, got a box of stuff for a dollar which included: 3 records (talk talk, psy. furs and a live smiths album, a book on entertaining from 1961, hiroshima, some chinese stories, 'the junkie priest' (which doesn't look nearly as exciting as the title might lead you to believe, but it's a pretty rad cover) some recipe cards, a *huge-o* ency. of animal life, another copy of slaughter house 5, um...some other books too...i think about 17 things total, OH! and a'something something with britney spears' video tape. it's so bad...so i think we figured everything averages out to be about 6.5 cents/item....that tape is so worth 6.5 cents. hell, i might even say 50 cents. it is SO bad and low budget. i swear, her father taped it at sears portrait studio, (in front of the 'urban gritty' back drop) and you can HEAR PEOPLE IN THE BACKGROUND. the whole production is just so poor, but it did include some videos. sadly, not the oops video, because that one, i actually kinda like....it has ok dancing, ok? i'm telling you. six and a half cents...you'd do it too. 1:28 p.m. - 2002-05-06 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
