bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- this has been a good weekend Note to self: use word 'razzamatazz' more. no real reason. it's just zingy. no, it's zingy! last night was kendall's birthday party. kendall, if you didn't know, knows *everyone* and i mean e.v.e.r.y.o.n.e. the unfortunate thing is about 97% of these people are beautiful. there was one girl there last night who was *easy* 6 foot 2. more modelly than basketbally and she kept standing near me. i kept moving and she'd move too. maybe she needed to feel better about herself by standing next to a short little round girl with a pimple on her chin. i went outside to get some quiet (oh, yeah...there was a 6 peice + singer white boy funk band. because kendall is the kinda lady who funk bands will travel up the east coast for. they were actually really good. pencilgrass or pencilgra$$ or something. see them if you can. they do a cover of 'waiting room' (the H.O.T.T. lead singer went to highschool here with K>) and the theme to flash gordon.) and miss kendall introduced me to some freaky sculptor who was um....how you saw,ahh yes.... WAAAAY too into masons. although for whatever reason, last night, i was ON. not like, in the annoying "i work in theatre, therefor everything i say must be BIG!" i mean, for whatever reason, i was a joke cracking machine. i haven't felt that on in a long time. which is nice. it's kind of depressing when you're packing/unpacking your junk and you find these little ghosts of who you used to be and you think "god, i used to be fun. i used to *have* fun. what the crap happened?" and you can't really put your finger on it, only that the difference is you're farther from 1973. tonight i'm going to see my housemate ryan's band 'the deep six' open for ted leo avec the pharmacists. this has been a good weekend. 6:04 p.m. - 2003-12-13 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
