bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- my american idol recap my picks on american idol by beth b. age 30. ok, so now we have (s)cooter girl out of the way, and my #1 pick is still there....john something. the red red red headed one. let's just call him conney jr. because he looks like conan o'b. mmmk? also there, amy adams and her pink hair. does anyone else think she looks like joanne worley from laugh-in? seriously. look into that, thanks. the 16 year old with the envyable fuzzy pink barret? IN!!!! annoying stripping blonde guy? thankfully out out out. two casualties i'm upset by: smiling george. i loved him. a lot. and the little person blonde girl. anyone who reads this knows that (in an extremely unpolitically correct admitment here) that um...well....little people freak me out a little....but i wanted to see her go far because her voice was, like, 90 times bigger than she. here's what i think about the remaining contestents: elizabeth letendre and katie webber, you two are the same person, so please meld already. thanks. brie with the suspenders, once upon a time, i thought having one ani difranco on this planet was enough. then gina young came along. now we have two ani difranco's on this planet. please do us a favor- don't become a 3rd. camile velasco, charly lowry, kara master, latoya london, ashley thomas, john preator, leah labelle, marisa joy, tiara purifoy...um....who? they'll be cut early. also cut early on: mathew metzger and eric yoder. eric yoder i kinda liked, he was at least partially humble. matty metzger? not so much.heather piccini, in the kimberly caldwell roll this year, you'll make it to #11. amy adams, although you're my favorite, i'll be really happy if you make it to #12, but don't hold your breath. and seriously, have someone look up your family tree and see if you've got joanne worley shoved up there somewhere. if not, call up kate hudson and get some kinda laugh in for the aughts thing going. donnie williams and joanah moa-something, you two make it to the top 7.jasmine trias, you're a wild card. i'm saying top 5 or not at all. my girls: fantasia barrino, dianna degarmo, susan vulaca....make me proud. jennifer hudson, i want to put you in this group too, but i'm not sure. i think you're another one who will do really really well if you can get up in the top 12. my boys: erksine- you have style *and* you're funny. and you have great hats. i'd like to see you in the top 3. matthew roders- i've been pulling for you since day one. please, god, don't go country....please please please....you....i say bottom out at #9. the roman brothers....i think you two will exit the competition becuse people won't really know who to vote for, but on a note to noel: good call on vanilla-icing your right eyebrow. although that kinda makes me want jesus to go farther than you.jon peter lewis- you had me at you pen salesmen gag. you by far have the best personality and you're cute in a way girls don't find intimidating. you my friend- top 3!!! wait...lisa marie wilson? the bikini model with the huge boombas? how'd you get in here and sara (of sara and sergei) didn't? that's not right. you, darling, are horrible. i think people won't vote for you. i hope anyway. ok, my 2 favorites: lisa leuschner- for having the balls to come back a second time, unheeding simon's advice. you're awesome. i don't think you've got the best best voice, but i do certainly admire you. congratulations. and finally, my man, the star, john stevens.you read it here, my friends. i can't believe i just wrote all of that. i'm going to get docked some serious punk points now. 6:56 p.m. - 2004-02-05 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
