a history of the van

was going to see 'the incredibles' last night with miss chris, but we ended up strolling around georgetown and christmas present buying at a leisurely pace (tried to go to big planet comics but they were closed! closed! i thought for sure they were open 'til 9. "what happened to 'alternative counter culture'?" was chris' rhetorical answer.
and that be why i love her so.
had reeeeeeeally good and well priced vietnamese food after walking into a thai place that either sean or the married mentioned once. we walked out after looking at the menu. i think i may have actually said "thank you! goodnight!" after looking at the prices.
after that ginger-carmelized chicken for 9.95 was the deal of the century.
then i went home and watched the very very lame resolution of america's next top model "cycle 3". eva? seriously?
bleh.
i'll still be gay for that show and season (excuse me, miss banks....CYCLE) 4 and loudly hope that the use of green wigs in the photoshoots doesn't get above 3 times.
seriously, it was a bit much. they looked like jem and the holograms and the misfits. and i'm not talking about the punk band.
the beauty pills are home. and as far as i can tell in one piece. and chad c.'s car is out of the driveway.
the big yellow van is still there.
that poor van. so much DC rock history with that van. unrest. most secret method. beauty pill. probably some routineers shows. selling fort reno tshirts of of the back of it. as much as i would like to be about to park in our driveway, i love knowing mark robinson and bridget cross rattled around in that thing.
