bye bye berkley springs

I was supposed to go to berkley springs WV tomorrow to do some scenic painting on a production of steel magnolias. and i was looking forward to it a. a drive out there is pretty b. i'd get to see adele r. whom i haven't seen in about 2 years c. it would be some cash d. i really do love to paint.
adele just emailed me saying their set designer (who i guess works at catholic u) decided he's going to stay the weekend and do it himself...something about him needing a weekend in the country. which was the very same reason i took the job so i'm a little sad about it.
although it takes some of the stress off the car which apparently has a problem with the "evap system" and they can't exactly pinpoint the problem. which sounds expensive and aggrivating.
ok, look at good side:
don't have to spend 4 hours in a car by myself
can sleep in on saturday
don't have to finish all my work by the end of today because i can do it this weekend if need be.
knitting is hard to do while both driving and painting
i can have catch up time with my smiley friend diana.
yes.
