bambi- inspired questions.

i am so tired.
and in need of another go-cart fix.
tonight is invited dress of lady windemere's fan which is.....fine. .
i absolutely adore simon the set designer. he's adorable. kinda like austin power's dorkier brother. although he did say "nice jugs" when referring to two vases i bought. i said "simon....that means something entirely different in america..."
i'm not going to IDR because i thought i had to strike midsummer in the park. i'm going to go in to the shop where there's hopefully no one today and work on my mini golf hole.
last night i turned down a free ticket to starwars with ryan and basala. it was late and i was tired and grubby and had spent two hours making gay jokes with ryan while we watched bambi.
i have to admit i've never watched bambi. i don't know why. snow white? sure. cinderella? and how. song of the south? absolutely....but no bambi.
which makes me ask...if bambi is supposed to be the "young prince" why is his dad also a prince? shouldn't be be king? or could they not call him king because he's just an f-ing deer and not a lion?
and why are there so many girls named bambi if bambi is a boy? and if the father-prince deer is twice as old as any of the other deers in the forrest, does that make the mama deer the anna nicole smith of the deer world?
i have so many questions...
