an entry weirdly about guy p.
i've gotten through the first three dvd's of gilmore. i just finished the 3rd which ends on the double date where sooki and jackson go out and sookie is all adorable and nervous and i sat there totally cringing because while some women apparently can wear t-shirts with "i'm carrie" and "i'm samantha" beadazled on them, i'm afraid mine would say in big, neon, light-up letters "I'M SOOKIE". and it would probably come with a back-up warning.
the other thing about that episode, when lane and boring todd are in line and lane is blathering at todd about the velvet underground, i'm looking at boring todd's shirt, and i see "UG" and an iron on that looks familiar and boring todd squirms uncomfortably revealing a "FUG" and the cover of end hits (which reminds me, i need to import that to my itunes- hold on) (ok- currently importing endhits and redmedicine is next) where was i - oh! so i can see it's a bootlegged fugazi shirt (because all fugazi shirts are bootlegged. dischord/fugazi has never authorized any tshirts/stickers/anything) and lane asks him about it, but boring todd didn't know anything about it since it's in fact his sisters.
i don't know why all of a sudden this has turned into television without pity (also side note, while lengthy, i highly recommend the recaps of america's next top model. ooooooh the humanity)
man, i haven't listened to this in so long....has guy ever sounded better than in place position?
here's two things about guy...
1) how to pronounce his name guy (gee- not guiiiiiii) picciotto (pih-cho-toe)
i'm just sayin' because kids call him guy (guiiiiii) and i think i pronounced his last name pits-e-otto until i moved here. and i might even be mispronouncing it now.
2) the sexxxiest thing i ever saw at a rockshow was standing on stage at a fugazi show and guy knocks his mic onto the audience (the stage is about 4'9" in the air so the mic was falling a far bit) guy, in the middle of a solo sticks his leg out and stops it from bonking some kids in the head and flips it back on stage. that was the very essence of hottness.
