a short admission of defeat

i don't know what caused it (well, yeah, i do have an idea) but all of a sudden all i want to do is curl up in a ball and cry.
really nothing singularly bad has happened. it's just the overwhelming collection of lackluster events that has gotten so thick and so impenetrable that i feel utterly defeated.
