merry christmas

i'm sitting upstairs in my parents computer room being kind of ridiculous. my mom invited a woman she works with to dinner and she's very nice. i just don't have it in me to make small talk.
i'd rather hide in my room and watch the DVD that came with the believer. or finish knitting the hat i'm working on. i've gotten a lot done...i'm making a knit version of a flannel hunting cap. when i get back to DC i'll have to block out the pieces and then sew it all together.
it's rainy and cold and blah.
although my parents have been really good and fun and barely annoying.
today is also my gramma's 90th birthday. tomorrow we're having a party for her which will puh back my drive to DC some which i'm not so excited about.
i was thinkin'g i'll leave at 5, but maybe i'll leave at 4 instead.
i don't know.
