mrs. mcstinker

about a month ago, miss colleen and i were unloading some furniture and a dog came up and starting barking at us. we were concerned she was a stray (no collar) and hadn't eaten anything (very skinny) so we went to CVS to get her some dog food.
when we got back, she was gone...or so we thought until we saw her from the back porch (and i use that term loosely) of a house belonging to a neighbor near the prop shop.
i started calling her mrs. mcstinker because she was a faker and tricked us into thinking she was homeless.
whenever she sees me she bounds over her fence and the small creek that separates the prop shop and her home.
i bought her a collar at a dollar store so she wouldn't look like a stray. i'm guessing her family took it off because it's not there now.
i've gone and talked directly with the family (the dog's real name is annex which is a stupid name)and told her they really need to put a collar on her because someone from animal control going to take her away.
they gave me some cock and bull story about how the woman's mother let the dog out and the dog "don't come home"; which is such bullshit because the dog is obviously left in the back yard all (winter) day long.
mrs. mcstinker is kind of a handful. she jumps all over you when she sees you and considering she has to cross a creek which contains god knows what, that's gross. i have taught her to sit. i'm working on 'shake'.
i kinda just want to take her home, but since i do own the coolest cat in the world, it might not go over so well.
plus, mrs. mcstinker's family has kids. maybe i should find a book about kids and proper doggie care.

also, hanging out with rania is fun.
