egg hunt. not the band.....ok, a little at the end.

last night (err....earlier this morning?) when i got home a little past one AM from strike i'm walking up my front walk way and i see something shiny in my little pansy plants...they're eggs. then there's an egg lying on some bittersweet that's overgrown the stairs....and one by the door....
i pick one up and shake it and it has the unmistakeable sound of candy rattling around in it.
i called the suspected easter bunnies and sure enough it was them. it's probably been two decades at least since i've gone on an easter egg hunt. let alone one at 1:30 in the morning.
if you think that eggs hunts are dumb...well...you're wrong. really really wrong.
it's 8:55 am and i'm back at work. i have to unload the van, paint two more drops and head to home depot. all by three pm because that's when i'll officially stop working to go to dinner with my two bunnies.
this coffee better kick in soon.
oh, and today's soundtrack- given it's easter (welcome back baby jesus) and the events that took place a mere 7 and a half hours ago) is 'me and you' and 'we all fall down' by egg hunt.
