happy birthday to me

my parents drove three and a half hours down here for a three and a half hour visit.
i took them to see the turtle and we had lunch and also walked around eastern market. it was actually very nice and they were very low-stress which was good since i was nursing a hangover from the small party i had last night.
my cheeks were sore from laughing this morning.
my brother todd asked if we could do dinner tomorrow which is actually good, so i took a nap after mom and dad left.
afternoon napping always feels like a luxury.
so...yes. even 'tho my birthday wish didn't come true...or through maybe, it was still a good birthday.
my new wish is for someone to make me some dinner.
i think i really should give up on the first birthday wish because let's face it. i'm pathetic.
i'm not making any sense...
