unplanned pumpkincy

today's heat index for DC: 110.

this morning at 9:30 am the work room was 90 degrees. luckily the offices have AC and i didn't have much to do in the work room and today and tomorrow i have to concern myself with packing up love's labours to go to england.
and friday the weather will cool down to a blissful low-90's.
gag.
tonight for dinner, i'm going to make a "zuchini and tomato fritata" made from zuchinis and tomatos grown from my very own yard.

hooray!
i got some miracle grow for what's left of the pumpkins....although they probably wouldn't fruit anyway...they're so far apart that they probably wouldn't get polinated propperly.
but i can't shake the excitement that would be unplanned pumpkincy from the seeds tossed out to the squirrels after last year's pumpkin carving party.
there's some other stuff, but i don't feel like writing about it.
other than
nah. never mind. it's too hot.
