minus the ass

today, with the exception of waking up late late was pretty good. chester did not, in fact, make me go to kennsington to find chairs, and i ended up going to the american history museum before it closes for "two years" or, really, probably 5 and saw muppets and fonzie's jacket. and had old people farting like mad in front of us whereever we went. and when we were in julia child's kitchen, alicia posed in the little glass alcove while colleen took a picture and a woman said "oooh! is that her?" and then alicia moved and the woman said "oh, i thought she was a mannequin".
and on the metro as i was getting off a car, a small indian woman grabbed my shoulder and asked if the train was going to metro center and i was so surprised i just kinda grunted and shook her off and kept going. and we rode the carousel and then went to see taladega nights. which was ok...
i still haven't read the paper yet. i guess i'll do that now...
but all in all, today was a pretty good day.
except for one thing that isn't worth thinking or worrying about.
