just cause you're older doesn't make you wiser

i'm almost done with the model and groundplan for the Mazz's show.
There's a tech director (for once) who kept saying "well, i've been doing this for 30 years" and "i have a masters degree in this" which made me roll my eyes, so i had to bust out my time in grad school and name check the theatre i work for.
then he seemed to calm down a bit.
i know i'm only 33, but i've been working in professional theatre since i was 18. and i'm really f-ing sick of these old dudes who like to "tell me how it's done" and what kind of paint i can use. quite frankly, i don't give a crap. i can make whatever i need out of tints and $5 oops house paint from home depot. because i can and because i rule.
as long as he shuts up and can fetch masonite, i guess i should be happy there's someone to build this thing.

i'm going to work on ccf stuff until 10 and then back to the model making festivities.

bah.
