SNOW!
this morning i participated in my sunday ritual of going to the grocery store at 7:30 am because it's way not-crowded and was greeted by fresh tulips for 4.99 for 10 stems and asparagus for 1.99 a pound (two of my favorite things about spring. well...tulips are a favorite flower in general) and thought yes! almost spring!
on the way home (8 am) it was raining so i nestled into bed with coffee and toast and the washington post and there was a Hills marathon on (i took a break from the paper for one episode to count the "like"s in the episode. Heidi was the biggest offender at 43.
I honestly can't tell if the show is real. or if MYV gives them an outline of what to do...but whitney is a total slack-jaw mouth breather and that spence kid is a goul.
a fucking GOUL.
seriously. they could sell that face for halloween.
i guess really all of them are kinda foul with their dyed-in-the-wool highlights and overly bleached teeth (i almost want there to be a black light in some episode. audrina and spence would just *glow* purple mouths
anyway, so the rain turned to snow about 9 or so and it's been snowing at a good clip ever since.
i hope it's snowman snow. lately all the snow we've been getting has either been powdery or sheets of ice.
i'm glad it's finally snowing on a day where i have no obligations. aside from the ac moore moonlight madness sale, but i don't think i want to drive in this...
