the state! on DVD!

today i'm going to be piggy-backing on sean and rania's open house at mt. rainier day. i made (finished) one more bat and one more fun gus.
i think i finally figured out what to do with the eyes on fun gus.
i figure any exposure is good exposure. and this will be kinda different than the artomatic crowd. it'll be mt, rainier people....i wonder how many people will come out for it? it's also open studios for the glass school. that will be similar to the artomatic crowd.
i cancelled the board game party i was going to have tonight which makes me a little sad, but really, it's better. i was so stressed about cleaning and everything else that it's nice to change it to a calm dinner.

also also also, in the greatest news ever: i caught michael showalter on the human giant marathon last night (for the record- human giant?meh) but what's important here is that showalter announced that MTV will finally be releasing all 4 seasons of the state on DVD.
what's not going to be good about it, is the music is going to be bad. like the skit where kerry kenney and michael ian black are shopping for pants while 'cannonball' was playing? it's been redubbed with something that kinda sounds like it was maybe supposed to be cannonball. it throws the rhythm of the editing in that skit off so i wonder how other things will fare. like the "i love you toothbrush" thing with michael ian black in the field with his toothbrush and sugar's "favorite thing" is playing?

those are the two most prominent songs i can remember...

but regardeless....i'm really excited to see that stuff again.
