bulls eye on my back

i guess i was right about my interview going well, i have a follow up on monday. which is kinda smack in the middle of the day for me as we're about to go into preview week, but really, what are they going to do if i walk out? fire me?
that's a bad attitude. especially since i'll be needing to overhire for them sometimes so i can, oh, you know, afford shoes and rock shows.

but hey, this summer is coming, and fort reno is free. i haven't bought or paid for pitchfork yet. i might sleep on mike's couch a night or two to save money if i end up there the 11th or 12th.
i sold one more painting, so that's a little scratch, and then i'm doing a "how do you get your news?" survey thing from a company in bethesda that does market research. this one sounds fun and god knows i like talking about media. and even more so when you're willing to pay me $75 for an hour and a half.

tonight is one of marie's famous margarita parties. i miss living in a metroable part of town. i could take the bus, but sometimes i feel like a target. and drunk would certainly brighten the bulls-eye.
