maybe i am an idiot

ok: part 2.
If you're ever in chicago, you really should stay at the ohio house motel.
it's quaint with a capital Q. totally 50's. nice staff. slightly invasive housekeeping, and decent rates.
the only place i found that had better rates was a place in chinatown which was so cheap (86/night + free innernets) it made me a little leary.
I don't regret ohio house one bit. plus, it's across the street from the Rock and Roll McDonalds so i went around all weekend with Wesley Willis' "rock and roll mcdonalds" in my head all weekend.
except for when i saw steven malkmus- then it switched to "rattled by la rush".i guess cause i think a lot of his solo stuff sounds like that. i'm not sure why i don't physically own it. plus, my favorite pavement albums are the two throw-aways. Wowee Zowee and brighten the corners. good god, i love me some brighten the corners.
i think that's the problem i have with led zeppelin too....my favorite record of theirs is arguably their worst. i can't help it, but i love In through the Out Door.

oh, you know what? i think i just got what that meant.
some 20 years later.
