cap hill books

I have my car back. it has a properly locking undented trunk.

well, maybe not so properly. it takes a little bit of coaxing but it locks.
but more importantly, it looks normal so the inspection people will leave it alone i think.

today it's getting a new windshield. it's going to be like having a whole new car. but i'll be really happy.
now all i need to do is fix the sideview mirror that an asshat knocked off a year ago when i saw mission of burma at the black cat.

i wish they'd come back, god they're great.
monday was eric's birthday. i gave him a book i've had since pretty much his last birthday. i got it at that crazy used book store on capitol hill that no one likes but me. and actually him. i bought him there once and the bitter old lady was working there. i actually haven't seen her in a while. usually the old man with the wacky (or i should say "wacky") sense of humour has been in.
only rarely do i catch the young cute guy.
