imagine the thrill

I bought an ace bandage yesterday for the knee. it did feel a little better today so i went to the gym although i only did 20 min. on the elliptical so i could go to another abs class. this time, no props. and WAY hardcore. although there was no face smacking, just giving up a few times. but the guy was nice and after the class was done asked if i liked it and what i wanted to work on and i said "um...everything?"
i had to run home to get shoes because i only had my paint spattered pink pumas with me and i had a site visit planned to the wilson building.
the collection of work there is pretty phenomenal. i think with phase 2, i'd like to see more emphasis put on the fact that it is open to public and encourage the public to go see it. particularly since there are so many DC artists who are currently living in the city and producing work. it's not a collection of old dead people you'll never interact with. i mean, these are people you actually have the chance of passing on the sidewalk or cutting off on 295!
imagine the thrill.
i just got a free sandwich. thanks panel of non-sandwich eaters. my 'kitchens of india red kidney bean curry' will sit in my drawer for another day.
i miss my old desk. and my old office. and caboose. and coworkers that don't listen to Sade.
