finally getting around to it

i found a whole new stash of fabric in a closet, i think stuff i've had even before my move 4 years ago.
oh. my. lord. i have so much stuff.
like about a yard of mauvy-pink fur. what am i going to do with it? i feel compelled to make something out of everything, but i have 10 days left. i also need to remember to apply for the b'more christmas craft show. i didn't get in last time and i probably won't get in this time, but they'll at least refund you your money.

today was the mayor's big "take public trans to work day" and to celebrate people drove every freaking car they had. i swear to god, some people were driving two at the same time. traffic was so backed up on the SE/SW freeway that it clogged Penn ave all the way back to my house, making me 30 minutes late for an appointment and the person i was supposed to meet, 48 minutes late.
i did get a free sandwich for lunch...apparently this panel is one of meat eaters cause the only things left were about 7 vegetable ones.
and the sky is clear blue. and i'm finally reading the children's hospital.
