bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- muddy vocals last night's show was really pretty great. i ended up behind the two talled white dudes in north america for the first band. it wasn't a bad strategy. they were so tall (easy 6'8 &7') that there was (if you were speaking geologically) a 'rain shadow' behind them but they kept enough 'we're not gay' distance between their shoulders that i could see pretty well. however, the 7' one was dangerously close to putting out my eye with his elbow that for art brut i moved to the side of the tallest one. at one point, i wanted a beer and asked him to save my space which he did, so that was nice. i moved a little closer for the hold steady which was the right move. the crowd was pretty good and pretty fun and i liked the people around me. toward the end there were obviously drunk duuuuuuude guys (one of which got up on stage and i hope removed from the club.) 10:22 a.m. - 2007-11-21 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
