Mike Hunt, from the office of Your Mom?

Today is the day of no concentration.
it's seriously bad.
While this hasn't been the worst day ever, there were moments that made me realize i'm really not smart enough to work here. There's just so much governmenty-type stuff that goes on that i don't understand.
I get why some offices exist, i just think that we take steps that aren't necessarily needed or maybe take seven times as long as they should.
It started snowing today, really lovely super snowing and then turned rainy. I can only hope that people aren't complete douchehammers on the way home.

this morning i had a site visit in a frustrating part of town. if you miss a left hand turn, you pretty much have to drive all the way to baltimore before you can finally turn left. Unless you cut right across three lanes (empty lanes, but still) into a wendy's parking lot and turn around and wait for a light.
i was so over it by the time i got to the building and then the "security" guard (and by security guard i mean mean-old-black-lady-stuffed-into-a-uniform) who told me to sign in if i wanted to go upstairs and i told her that i was waiting for someone. when he finally came down she said "did you sign in? remember? i told you to sign in?"
so i did.

And mike hunt of the office of 'your mom' enjoyed his visit. thanks.

i know it's 4th grade humour, but it made me feel better.
