happy birthday to some people

Today there's a crafty bastards vendor meet-up thing at a bar in adam's morgan. i'm so not dressed for that neighborhood.
I am excited to see and meet the other vendors and hopefully get a copy of the map so i can see where i am. I'm wondering if the whole event expanded onto, say, the tennis court since there's about 40 more vendors this year than last and last year it felt really really packed.
i have total and complete faith in kim & sarah to completely ace this 'tho. they're amazing and awesome.
I'm wishing i had worn better shoes. I will probably walk over to 18th from here since i'm only on 14th...although some people refer to it as a nebulous hinterland of crime (only without water). which it is. so i won't walk on euclid. i'll take columbia. which, is, you know...one road down so it's imminently safer.
