surogate stars hollow

i called in sick today too. this is bad. i think the last time i was this ill was when i lost my voice for two weeks and had to communicate with ryan through notes and ryan had to call chester to tell him i'd be out.
i have to go in tomorrow- i have an install at the chancellor of education's office that i can not miss. i'm hoping all the sleeping and soup slurping are working.
it has allotted me the chance to watch gilmore girls reruns on abcfamily however. i told tina over the weekend that i actually missed that show...probably more than i should admit. i think i mostly miss discussing it the following day with eric (why did they pick that song?) but i do miss it. sometimes when i visit new towns i evaluate them on a stars hollow scale. it seems that the town i grew up in is really turning into one....complete with the guy with the parrot on his shoulder who sits outside the starbucks for hours at a time.
