chicago and baseball

We're having a big art unveiling at the ballpark tomorrow which is exciting and weirdly stressful. it shouldn't be. but being in the ballpark when we're the only people there is kind of exciting. The home opener is against the phillies but it's in the middle of the day but i can hopefully catch another game of the series. I hate watching baseball on TV (mostly- unless there's a team i like playing) but i *love love love* games in person. I feel the opposite way about basketball. And football- meh. If it's not the iggles, i don't really care.
I've been thinking about what to do in Chicago if i go again this summer (since it looks like i'll only go to the friday night of pitchfork if at all) and i was hoping to see a cubs game but they're in DC. The white sox are hosting the orioles which i probably wouldn't mind seeing, but i really (sorry harriet!) really want to see a game at wrigley field.
i think i'd also like to go to a taping of 'wait wait don't tell me' even 'tho i think my mo rocca phase has run its course. I enjoy the show, but really, i want to be in the Chase building.
