Chicago rules

Chicago once again is on its best behavior. It's delightfully chilly and beautiful. Putting the trip over the top is that i'm in some big crazy suite. It Is about three times as big as my first apartment. It has 2 doors, 2 tvs and a wetbar. Oh! And a view of the chicago river and the NBC building. The bed is so big I can lay across it sideways and not reach the edge.
Yesterday i went to the MCA for the eliasson exhibit- one side was ok and the other side was probably some of the most magical installation work i have seen in a museum.
I also had lunch with a roommate from grad school. She found me on facebook and lives here it was nice to catch up. The pinnacle of yesterday was the Jesus lizard at pitchfork. They sounded so tight and so good and gloriously mathy. Plus, they all aged well. Even yow. I know I shouldn't be, but I am continually surprised by the number of people sparking up at outdoor shows. Someone had some really stank weed.
All of the galleries and places I want to visit today don't open until 11. I figured while I was balling, I'd order roomservice so i'm drinking coffee in bed and contemplating getting a down comforter for myself.
Today i'm going to hit some galleries and neighborhoods
