arty day

I'm dedicating today to art...and checking out the soup dumplings I hear of in our Chinablock. Along with the caveat of "not as good as the ones I had in NY". But nothing ever is, is it?
Today is the last day to see the Truitt show at the Hirshhorn which I have been sleeping on, so I need to check it out. Hopefully the arctic air will keep others away. I will also swing by the portraiture now exhibit again too- it's so good. And near the alleged soup dumpling place.
All the ikea furniture is assembled- the kitchen is officially cute and functional.
Cupcakes were made. Dinner of tomato soup, grilled cheese, brooklyn brown ale and cupcakes was ate and delicious.
Ok, need to tear myself away from this Law and Order marathon to get dressed and head out.
