too big to flail

i've been staying away from this which is weird. this was (sometimes is) the one place i always go to to post news and think things out loud. and now that big good things are happening, i've been lured away by the quick convenience of twitter and facebook although i would never tell those people what i tell you.
It's weird to think about the different strata of privacy and the different voices i use for each.
I guess it's really no different using this almost exclusively instead of the paper books i used to use.

i think the main reason i've been away from this is i was worried it would be found but it seems to remain undiscovered which is kind of nice. Although now this thing is so big and so unruly- i mean, i've been writing in this thing for 10 or 11 years! that anyone going back probably stops after a few entries
