my 2012 wish to you

oh 2011- i might actually be glad to see you go. I learned a lot about myself this year and accomplished some major things. I traveled a little. Read almost none. Made new friends. Found old ones. 2011...you were a good year. So....for 2012....

Let's take what we learned in 2011 and build. Take those new skills and find old uses for them. Find time to read for fun and for knowledge. Find time for coffee with a friend. A run on a beautiful morning. A quiet walk down a new path.
Let's listen more and argue for the sake of arguing less.
Focus on what you're doing well and succeeding at and notice when you're having fun and do that. Always do that.
May 2012 find you in unexpected places, with your favorite people. May your tasks be fun, worthwhile and memorable. May your coffee be strong, your ties to loved ones stronger and may you at the end of the night, have a quiet brain and a happy heart
