running in the cold

This week is the last full week of my residency. After this it goes to maybe friday nights and saturdays. I like knowing i can go more if i need. I am going to miss thursdays.
Last thursday I had to meet someone moving back to Germany the next day and he wanted an owl. I took the metro to a point, got out and walked across town which felt great and i stopped for coffee and saw hello kitty and bought a too-small-tshirt.
I think the best way to love your city is to walk around and explore. i never have enough time to do that.

In celebrating me getting back to my life, I scheduled a small race for myself- it's another 5k. In January. With soup. but this will be good. Now i'll have to get use to running in the cold.
