bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- what not to wear when teching a show, or the affairs of count snatchula warning: this will contain vulgar language.... sorry....had to do that, just in case... why? because i am working with count snatchula.... by nature, i am uh..."artistic" ???? and many things that go along with that....kinda messy...very spur of the moment...when tired and stressed, i become a bit flaky, but i always try to be nice. i want to be remembered as someone that is a good collaborator, and fun to work with. aside from having excuisite taste in music... um...anyway, count snatch, or as i also call her "bitchie-poo", will not, at least by myself, be remembered as someone i enjoyed working with. she is a stage manager, i am a set designer. usually, the two positions have a very laise faire kinda relationship. i supply the groundplans and the aesthetics, you supply the spike tape and the coordination. we had tech on saturday (tech in theatre is when you do and redo and then re-do some more) until it hurts, basically...and you get it right... she showed up wearing a shirt that said "the beatings will continue until morale improves". funny....huh. yeah, i didn't think it was funny either. 20:28:29 - 2000-03-27 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
