bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gets me every dang time... Happy weekend should = good week. Camino opens tonight, so there will be drinking and dancing (i hope, i think - the party will be at politki b/c then i can stumble home drunk and tired and happy) We're re-mounting Merchant of Venice from last year, and aside from PJ wanting live flame in the house, near the patrons (which we think is getting nixed) 's not so bad. We have to touch up the paint on some stuff but that's it. BUT i get to be outside at the Carter Barron Ampitheatre which i love. I don't think I was supposed to capitalize 'ampitheater' but whatever. I likes to be outsides....except for when my cat locks me out. Things i did this weekend: bought comic books****actually saw a VW bug in that 'vapor' color, which, i must say- stunning color for a car. truly cool.****Listened to Unrest ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL WEEEKEND. When i was home, whilest i was driving. Oh, unrest are the best. How i do miss them. And how glad i am that caroline records gave up the rights one year early so Number Six could re-release Malcolm X park and kustom karnal blaxploitation.....I've had copies of Kustom Karnal Blaxploitation fade in and out of my life more times than boys....hey, you know? That's almost true! You should make Unrest the soundtrack to your life! A) because i said so and B) because you just should. If the sound 'she makes me shake like a soul machine' doesn't get you where it counts- then sir, (or madam) there is something wrong with you.
