bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- does crime go down when it gets too hot? i did laundry yesterday. i used some fabric softner that i don't particularly care for. it makes your clothes smell like candy. i like candy. i just don't want my socks to smell like candy. hey, is this the third entry i've done on smells? right on. 15 fort renos down and 0ne to go. we sold so many tshirts last night. now i definately think we'll sell them all at the fugazi show on manday. i've discovered that there are some jobs i am not cut out for. one of those is a ditch digger. i discovered that by helping my dad dig out his new pond. i was-a-no-good with the spade. if he loosened the dirt for me, i was ok and could toss it out, but actually breaking ground and going deeper in the rocky soil, i was useless. also, i would be really really truly awful at one of those carny/ guess your age things. i bet i could nail your height. but age? nope. or just general numbers of things? nope. my booth would be rid of all my prizes in under an hour. i could promise that. I was sure we probably screened 200 shirts on tuesday, but it was only 144. i'd bet we probably maybe sold almost half of those. i feel kinda bad 'tho, because i guess ann kinda sprang me doing ft. reno on laura without asking her. and i don't know, maybe laura wouldn't have wanted to do it with me. maybe she'd prefer tina or rosanna or something. i had no idea until laura told me last night. now i'm kinda...i don't know. confused. maybe i'll tell laura if she wants someone else, she can pick someone? i don't know. i need more coffee. in this 100 degree heat- coffee. i wonder if crime goes down when it gets too hot. 11:24 a.m. - 2001-08-10 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
