bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- old neiiiiigh-vy listening to: Lois and Brendan's 'Union themes'. making me kinda sad, because everyone around me (even the prefectly horrible nasty people)(and i don't mean that on the superficial level. i mean these people are bunk all the way through) (unlike me who may have a nasty exterior but only has rotten and bruised pockets inside) seems to be in lurve. bah. i mean, there are some cute-great-wonderful people together who are just so very very right (jessica and andrew for instance are so fucking cute, they should be made into salt and pepper shakers) (and i don't mean that meanly. honestly, you should see them)(you'd tilt your head and go 'awwwwwwww....i want that') and that makes me happy. But there are some people that it takes all of my might to not let "good LORD! WHAT is going on HERE?" leap outta my mouth. Reading:'Nobrow- The culture of Marketing and the marketing of culture' by john seabrook. i am a sucker for product and packaging. fo'real. drinking: bad coffee. waiting to lunch in the remnants of DC's china town so i can get some poeple i love japanese candy and cookie products. dc's china town blows. DC should be really really embarrassed for what they've turned it into. i miss philly's china town. i'll have to stop by the next time i'm home. wearing: puma sneakers, black boot cut capri pants (although on me they're pretty much ankle-lenght trousers) and a blue t shirt (no band/bar insignia. plain. and strangely from old navy. i'm over my old navy fear. i was encouraged to go by jessica's friend becky, and that was before my missouri trip where i went to one in the state of Kansas and also went twice before i went to missiouri. i have not gone since, however.
