bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- hash pipe i need a show-buddy here in DC. sometimes i can coerce a friend into going if it's someone like mike watt or the plan, or a similarly big name, but sometimes, i just want to go to see bands i don't know at places like the galaxy hut where i'll usually end up knowing people, but it's more fun to go *with* people. i guess i need to replace the ex-friend scott. mostly a)because he lives in waldorf, MD and b)there was the issue of...you know..."other girls".... i'm almost done piecing all the panels of this quilt together. i have to connect row 5 to row 4 and then i'm handing it off to becky to do the edges. whfs (local radio station) just played the strokes. i think this marks the first time they've played a song i haven't dispiesd in.....months actually... oh, and they're back to 9 inch nails. back on the crap list. also-does anyone have a term for all this cold-play/creed/ice box whatever music? we at work call it "donnie rock" after a bloke who worked here and listened to all that crap. 12:56 p.m. - 2001-12-05 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
